My Story
My grandparents and father immigrated to this country passing through Ellis Island before they ventured into their new communities. I grew up surrounded by family and fondly remember the days I spent with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Our Elders were held in high regard and when they needed support and assistance, family was always close by.
Today, the family nucleus is less defined and our Elders are living longer. The Wisest members of our families might not realize they need assistance or they may be too proud to ask for help.
If their children are not close by, they might not even realize their parents are struggling. In addition, children today are faced with the challenges of caring for their loved ones while trying to support their own families.

A Care Advocate and Life Care Planning Specialist provides the support and guidance an Elder and their family need.
There are times when healthy adults are faced with either a sudden health crisis or they simply wish to proactively explore options for their future. I experienced this when my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis over 25 years ago. I was concerned about her future and her financial ability to maintain her quality of life in her own home. I worried for almost 2 decades and feared how all our lives would eventually be altered.
Life Care Planning provided our family with a road map, confidence, and peace of mind.
