Love is one of the most powerful and effective emotions. LOVE overcomes ALL and yet somehow, most of us struggle answering the question “What would you LOVE?” Ask a child – they will answer swiftly and honestly without hesitation. Inquire about love with a teenager, and they may offer a well-known response that doesn’t genuinely reflect their own feelings. Young adults are seeking a new answer as they experience a more independent life while older adults reminisce about the LOVE they have shared and received throughout their lifetime. Their generational LOVE stories are truly worth listening to.
One of our new clients met her LOVE in kindergarten and were married 72 years before her husband’s passing at 92. Both of their family’s genealogy was traced back locally to the 1600’s. This is unique today and their LOVE is like so many of their generation they have a “profound connection, resilience and a deep understanding between partners” *
I would LOVE, is to look back fondly at the great achievement of our marriage and family. I realize this is very corny and those of you who know me – know me!!!
